In history millions of African slaves were deported around the world. Also to Turkey. Their descendants today are proud to be part of Turkish society. Some have achieved good status. But this has not been easy. Many initially lived in an agricultural community. Now you can find them everywhere in society. Many have mixed blood. 

Today it is important to them to know about their history.
